Michael Tremante began his film music career assisting Academy Award-winning composer Howard Shore. Tremante served as Associate Music Producer for the Academy Award and Grammy-winning score to Peter Jackson's “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.” Tremante also co-produced the scores to David Fincher’s “Panic Room” and David Cronenberg’s “Spider” while working with Mr. Shore.
In 2003, Tremante began actively composing for film. His scores include several award-winning independent
feature films, including Dave Gebroe’s “Zombie Honeymoon,” Erica Dunton’s “find love’” and Carl T. Evans’ “Walking on The Sky.”
Recently completed scores include Ben and Orson Cumming's film noir thriller “If I Didn't Care” starring Roy Scheider and Bill Sage, Carl T. Evans' JFK conspiracy thriller ”Frame Of Mind” starring Chris Noth and Barbara Barrie, and Chris J. Ford’s “Village Barbershop” starring John Ratzenberger and Shelly Cole. “The 27 Club” marks Tremante’s third collaboration with Erica Dunton.
